Upon arrival there were many issues. I was very upset. My experience started like this.
1st, I checked in and right away they charged me 2000 âsecurity depositâ then asked to pay for my stay, but I had already paid through Travelocity. After going back and forth they confirmed I had paid.
2nd, they put me in a van and took me to my room 5 minutes away. The girl had like 40 keys and she tried every key and couldnât open the door. A lady opens the door semi naked. They didnât know someone was staying there. The lady in the room looked mad and said âthe phone doesnât work, I asked for towels three hrs ago and no one brought them yet.â So then they told me to wait, the girl left, and came back and said âwe are going to put you in another room.â (The room they put me in had insect issues and the guest was moved). There were no towels, phone didnât work (you had to take a 7 minute hike to the front desk), and the tv did not work.
3rd, they offered free bfast, but it was already included with my reservation. I asked for it at 7 but didnât bring it until 9.
4th, I went on a trip and when I came back the door was locked and couldnât access my room. When they opened the main door I found my belongings on a pile outside the room. They said I could stay and 5 minutes later they kicked me out and took me to another room. I paid for ocean view but all you could see was trees.
5th, first 2 days were a nightmare, last 3 were good. Friendly staff, nice room amenities.
