Stay in this resort only if you want to sleep on wet beds and wanna eat terrible food. Upon our reporting of wet beds and floor in the room we were told "Your reservation is from Expedia and this is how those rooms are", they did not change our room during the first night of our stay and we ended up sleeping on damp beds. They did change the room on day 2 but with bad attitude and same answer that it was an Expedia room and this is how they are. We ended up checking out on day 3 and moved to Hyatt . But those 2 days at royal solaris of our 7 days trip to Cancun were terrible.
What an experience! The staff was so friendly. The entertainment was so fun. The food was absolutely delicious! I’m going again!
Excellent hotel! Everything was well cleaned and sanitized Food was great It was our second time on Royal Solaris Definitely going back
All the staff were friendly and went beyond to get you what you wanted.
Wonderful and very good place. Had an unforgettable time!
For the all-inclusive cost, this resort was totally worth the cost. The food was good and the restaurants and staff were great. Riky was awesome at the Fuentes restaurant! The pool area was great and the ocean views were incredible. It’s also cool how the Solaris and Caribe hotels can both be used because they’re sister hotels right next to each other. The outside staff also did a good job of providing fun activities, and the shows at night were entertaining. The only drawbacks were that the hot tubs were all broken and not functioning, and the alcohol was all watered down in a likely attempt to keep guests from getting hammered (which worked). Still, the staff was amazing and the room was very clean and quiet. I highly recommend this resort!
Todo fue bueno y comfortable la vista in preconante
Restaurants- one restaurant was opened at night and buffet. Same food every night! Short staff! couldn’t even get drinks we were so upset we ate breakfast and left. Staff- hardly spoke English and looked like they were asked to limit food to public. Drinks- all drinks were watered down and cheap hard liquor. Take medication to help with the headaches. Activities- hardly any activities. Same activities by the pool. Night shows hardly existed. We were explained it’s only 2 nights a week. Room service- we had to leave messages at the front desk to have someone call us back to place orders. Every time we called they didn’t answer. Their portions were so small you had to order 3-4 meals to get full. Minibar- they only put 4 beers a day. We had to call so many people to get more drinks. “only 4 a day” mini Coronas. Water- only in the mini bar and front desk. Tap water everywhere else Smoking area- none. We saw many smoking by the pool but no designated smoking area other than beach and street. Shows- I have been to Cancun may times but shows hardly existed. Other hotels previously had entertaining shows but here was twice. Week and not so exciting. Masks- staff was no so strict about masks and we saw many wondering in common areas. Privacy- we got balcony & the walls were open to the neighbors. They can hop in room
Un hotel bien limpio con extremas atenciones , el buffet no es el más surtido pero se come bien y la comida excelente, me encanto
Royal Solaris moved us to GR Solaris a sister hotel, but the service was ok, but not many options were given to us due to the Hurricane, which we were not told until we had paid almost $400 a night. I was really upset that the hotel was very limited I think we should've received a discount of some sort, but not $400 a night and it was very limited. If I would've known I would've just gone to another hotel or even a hostel for one night.
