Money grab chosen over customer service.
Booked wrong nights by mistake at 11:20pm on Feb. 19th (same night of booking) instead of the following week due to app. Called hotel and they refused to cancel booking or change booking dates. Contacted hotels.com customer service (third party company in another country) and was placed on hold while they contacted hotel. By the time I was reconnected it was 12:02am Feb. 20th and was refused cancellation, refund or booking change. Charged $183.65 for 2-night stay I didn't get. After arguing with the third party (out of US) customer service company for 2 1/2 hours and 4 different customer servicereps, I was offered $50 one Key cash at around 3am but if I wasn't persistent wouldn't have been offered any compensation. The hotels.com app will change your dates if you allow it to auto fill your search location. Tru hotel refused to work with me and it was merely a money grab on their part. I had stayed at this location in the past but never again due to how I was treated. Never had such a terrible experience with hotels.com or Tru hotels.
