Quaint and welcoming
We were in town for my grand babies baptism. It was a great place for my husband and adults kids to stay. It was very restful and enjoyable to come home to at the end of a busy day. Sharon was so nice and we really enjoyed our stay. I would come and stay another time.

Absolutely the best!
I rented the apartment for out of town guests. The place was immaculately clean, great location, and Sharon left lots of little thoughtful things like drinks. Sharon was THE NICEST! We emailed a bit before the reservation. Very personable, the kind of person you know you would be great friends with if you lived in Ashland. Such a wonderful place to stay.

Great places to stay
We stayed a couple nights and were treated to a great host and breakfast. This was our first stop on our vacation and it will be hard to top the contort we had at the tinder house. We enjoyed the stay and when we make it back to Kings Dominion we will stay here again. Thanks again.

Happy stay in "The Center of the Universe"
This is not the first time that I've stayed at Tinder House. This in and of itself should speak volumes - I'm a repeat buyer. Sharon is a great host. The location is convent to the city of Ashland, Hanover County, and in fact most of northern Richmond metro. If you are considering booking and worried about the trains - they are not that bothersome. In fact, when Amtrak stops in Ashland, and you look out the window, the engineer will wave to you from the cab. Nice town, nice lodging. Only warning, there is a flight of steps to the second floor. If you have concerns about this, send a message to Sharon and she will advise.
