Let there be a little more light!
It was very nice except for the lights in my room. When I turned off the light next to my bed before going to sleep, I tried to turn it on again in the middle of the night when I needed to use the restroom. But the light would not go on. I had to get up in the dark and feel my way around the bed to the light switch on the wall. I am a senior citizen with poor night vision, so this was a problem. I asked the desk to ask maintenance and was informed that this is just the way the lights are set up. I think you should rethink this. Also, the light in the bathroom went off after a few minutes. This morning as I was showering, the light went off, and I was suddenly in darkness. This light situation really needs to be corrected! Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

The staff at check-in were consistently nice and helpful. The hotel was clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool . the grounds looked well Kept up with a beautiful Koi pond although the restaurant side should have had more help. They were definitely struggling to keep up and the second night we ended up leaving. We were on a 45 minute waitlist and when we got there, we had to wait another 10 minutes or so and then we finally gave up and went back to our room, It was a great trip and close to the beach to the beach. We tried to ride our bikes, but there was too much traffic.

There was blood on the mattress that was showing under the fitted sheet. The floor left my feet black and when I wiped water up with a towel it left the towel black. There were no pool towels and when we asked for new shower towels we were told they would bring them to the room and it took an hour and we were told there was a long list of people needing towels like this is a common occurrence. No one at the front desk or answering the front desk phone in the evenings. Half of the mood lighting in the count yard is out. The restaurant guest take up all the parking and the restaurant activities definitely take away from the hotel guest accommodations.

For what we paid during off season, we expected a pretty nice hotel. Instead, it was one of the loudest rooms we have ever stayed in. You can literally hear every person above us, next to us and every person coming back to their room all night long. On top of that our toilet seat was broken and they charge $10 to park your car in parking spots our car could barely fit. Not a bad hotel (more like a motel), but not for what we paid.
