Absolutely do not recommend this place. There are many small points which were not great about this accommodation but let me start with the big no-go: The bed sheets stank unbelievably. They smelled like they had not dried in a while. Even my partner (who is much less worried about odors than me), was not sure how to sleep here. We kindly asked the owner to change the bed sheets. He refused saying, it does not smell... So, apart from the foul-smelling bed - "great" customer service.
The second part: Parking. The accommodation advertises free parking. What they do not mention: Only for 2 cars. Further guests have to park on the edge of the hill or down the hill. Hard to describe here, but neither spot is attractive.
The third part: The accommodation announces check-in time between 3pm and 6pm. (Already a short slot.) And even if you do arrive between these hours: Do not expect anyone to be there. You might just have to call them (which is fine for US citizens. But for all others: Enjoy the international calling fees.)
The fourth part: The interior is really old and dust is plenty to find in the cupboards etc.
The fifth part: You have to take off your shoes inside the entire house (not just your room). Usually, this is not an issue. But looking at how old and dirty the carpets are, it is totally gross to walk around barefoot. (So IF you stay there, take slippers.)
All in all, a horrible place!
