We had an unacceptable stay at your property from January 19th to January 20th 2025. We booked your property to celebrate a birthday at a place where there would be a pool and restaurant. The restaurant was closed. The pool closed two hours earlier than listed. The pool water was freezing and un-swimmable, and the jets in the hot tub did not work. There was zero communication and response with the front desk even directly asked questions. The phone in our room didn't work. We did not know there was a free breakfast and were given none of the basic information like the staff usually would do. We did not have enough towels for the number of guests. The room was absolutely frigid when we arrived, and the heat did not work properly - turning off at intervals during night and not regulating at all. The parking lot was not plowed, sanded, or salted, and both my daughter and I fell. The water out of the tub was brown. Well before checkout, staff tried to get into our room without knocking while my daughter was changing and I was in shower.
The list goes on and on, but to culminate it all, there was a bug next to my daughter's face when she woke up. I have attached picture.
We talked to the front desk, and they did not give us any information to complain directly and said we should include in review. We would expect some kind of compensation for this disastrous stay that ruined the vibe of a small trip that was supposed to be a celebration.
