Disappointed with cleanliness and service
My daughter and I stayed here to meet with my son who lives near Charleston. My son commuted from his home to the Property. When we got to the hotel, I asked the front desk receptionist about where my son could park and if he could have a parking pass to park in the other show a lot. She advised yes, and once he got there, she said to just let her know, and he would be able to get into the parking lot. When he arrived, another agent was tending the front desk. I asked her if she could open the gate so he could park during his visit with us. She advised there was only one car permitted per room so he would have to find residential parking on the street. We spent another $45 just so he could park his car for the days we were there though he was not an overnight guest. This was especially disheartening because when we extended our stay just so we would have more time to visit, I was charged a very high amount about $100 more than what I had paid the previous night for a hotel that wasn’t even close to fall on a cold day. Smell in lobby was awful.
The cleanliness of the room was very poor. There was dirt and mold in the corners the table and the TV stand area with filthy the bed beside the sliding glass door smelled like urine.
So it was called we decided to try out the pool. The towels available were not much larger than hand towels. Only 1working
elevator so long waits. Area was beautiful, but dissatisfied with the hotel.
