This is a beautiful resort. The ESPN Bar was fantastic, friendly, professional, and exceeded our expectations. We had a lot of trouble getting a menu from the Embers Restaurant though. The TV app didn't work, we couldn't get help from the bellman other than to tell us to look for the paper menu in the room....there wasn't one as we looked everywhere. Room service could not be reached after about 10 tries. The restaurant couldn't be reached. So, we went down to Drago's. We have eaten at their place in NOLA and have always been impressed with their professionalism and exquisite hospitality. This was a mess. We were there late...I get that...people get tired. However, we stood at the entrance watching three employees discuss whatever rather than accept us as customers waiting to be seated. Once addressed, we were made to feel like a burden to them. The food was very average. I am a meat eater, but could only eat half of the ribeye. I do not think it was USDA Choice, but rather meat from a dairy cow. I asked for med-rare and got something that looked freshly thawed. The server told me they had already emptied the container for tea so I didn't get a refresher glass. as we were trying to make the best of our dinner, servers were hustling to remove condiments from table and demonstrating it was time to leave....WE DID!
