The first room I entered, I unpacked and went into the bathroom before going out in the evening and noticed the bathroom was dirty. When my daughter and I returned to the hotel we changed floors, packed and unpacked. Later I go to sleep my daughter goes to take a shower, we had no hot water…I call the desk and they tell me I need to change rooms again, at 1 am. They told me to come get a new key, I said I would hope you will check and make sure the new room is clean and functioning properly. A woman came up and handed me the new key, no offer of help and told me the door is tricky to open…so I also had that to deal with. I told the front desk staff in the morning that I needed to speak with a manager…..she took my room, name and phone and spent three days with zero contact. My 2nd night, hotel got crazy with people coming in for a tournament kids were running around the hotel, many parents were drinking in the lobby but what was more surprising was the hotel staff smoking weed during their shift. I go to settle in my room and there was a stink bug in the room, probably because they aren’t getting regular scheduled pesticide treatments. If that all wasn’t bad enough the next night, the lobby was trashed by the hockey tournament parents and their kids ran around terrorizing guests. Told the manager when leaving and she said she knows about all of this but can’t control what people do….i would sure think a hotel manager should be able to control their guests and staff
