We booked a handicapped room and was not given one. Upon askibg to swirth we were told we could not. I then asked for a shower chair, it was placed in our room. The rest of the visit the staff was very not friendly to us at all. The morning we left, i asked if we could get our to go breakfast a little early, 20 min to be exact, and was told it was an inconvenience to him, even though they were clearly ready sitting on the desk behind him.
This place has the thinnest walls out of any hotel I have ever stayed at. There was a domestic disturbance in the room next door, we called the front desk 3 times and they did nothing about it, so we got to hear a couple cussing each other out until about 4am. This happened and yet they thought nothing of contacting us on two occasions when our dog barked from hearing another dog. Last time I checked, I paid a fee for my pet and pets tend to occasionally make noise when they hear other noises during the daytime. I would never recommend or stay here ever again
Room was clean and comfortable. We travelled with our golden retriever so it was nice that the floors were wood.
Great location!
Came for a weekend getaway and enjoyed our stay very much, this is the second time using this motel and highly recommended to family and friends, staff very friendly and rooms very clean
Very small parking othe that very good
Do not stay here!! The lobby is small and dingy and has a stale odor. On our way to the room the hallway was dirty and smelled like stale dog. Got to the room and it was very dark and dirty! My husband checked around and there was black stuff on the ceiling and the floor didn’t look vacuumed. Then he looked at the bed and there was 3 holes in the mattress. He looked around on the floor and found a couple of dead bedbug shells in the corner! So I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE! They also denied all of this when we requested a refund!
My room had been charged to credit card before arrival, even after hotels.com website stating it wouldn't be. arrival, I requested a refund and paid cash. The refund didn't process until after we returned home. Parking was difficult the first night. A staff member asked us to move our vehicle to another spot because he was concerned about limbs with snow on them falling. There were only 3 spots open. One was blocked by someone who parked poorly so we chose the only other one. The next morning or vehicle was stuck in ice until 12ish. Staff at hotel want helpful with much. The second day I inquired about public transportation since it vehicle was stuck and the front desk staff member revealed to me that he had only been there a week because the whole staff at the hotel had gotten sick, i assumed with Covid. Room was cleanish on first inspection. There was a sticker on a cabinet that we both assumed the other had put there but after the 2nd day we discovered it had been there since we arrived. Staff had missed it in channing and it stayed there or entire stay. The window leaked so there was mold around window and on under side of pleather cushion on window seat. Drink machines were messed up the last evening of our stay and staff offered me a warm bottle of water since machine ate my money. She asked a maintainence guy for help with machine but he stated he was going home and left. We actually decided to check out our last night and drive home because of experience
If you have a dog it's great. If not it reaks of feces and urine. I had to use my car deodorizer in my room to make it tolerable. Good service and comfortable bed.
