We only stayed for 1 night while visiting the Niagara Falls area. The room was clean and comfortable. Checkin was fast and easy and the staff were readily available to help and answer questions both at the front desk and in the breakfast area during the breakfast buffet. The breakfast was good with several hot and cold options. We enjoyed the omelettes and self-service pancake station. The pool was clean and our 7 year old really enjoyed it. I wish the pool opened 1-2 hours earlier for the early risers who prefer to swim before breakfast. The fitness center is open 24/7 but the pool is only open from 9am to 10pm. There was a fan making a loudish noise right outside our room but once we went inside the room we could barely hear it especially when the a/c was on. We were on the 1st floor and could hear people walking on the floor above us which wasn't a big deal but did make it a little hard to fall asleep when they returned to their room in the middle of the night. The ceilings seemed higher than at most hotels but not as sound-proof. Our tv remote didn't work the first night and I got a replacement from the front desk but the second one also didn't work that well. However when we tried it the following morning it was fine so I don't know what was going on with that. We would still stay here again if we were visiting the area and probably request a room on the top floor.

This was our favorite hotel during our recent road trip. The facility is modern, but warm and inviting. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is on a strip that is close to major highways, stores and restaurants. Our room was immaculate and furnished with everything we could have hoped for. We will definitely be seeking out more Holiday Inn Express hotels during our next excursion.
