Really disappointed that the pool was closed the entirety of our stay due to maintenance, I would have appreciated a heads up on that considering I booked a hotel with a pool because I have children and it’s winter time with cold temps so not much to do outside. At check in I was offered the opportunity to cancel but it was after 5pm and I had family events to attend and didn’t have time to search for another option. It would have been wiser for the hotel to schedule pool maintenance during the week when less chances of families coming for a weekend would have been affected. Contractors were almost always sitting in the breakfast area as well, at both breakfasts I had and when I checked out. The employees we encountered were friendly and the room was clean which was also extremely important. I booked based on most other positive reviews, just overall disappointed about the pool.
