Disappointed but we made the best of it!
Rented 2 rooms for ourselves and our cousins. The rooms were not alike. Theirs had been updated with a walk in shower and granite countertops. Their room wasnât as bad as ours except for the bra left in the closet and the dirty floors.
The rooms we had were misrepresented in photos. The photo shows a door, which we were hoping for to have a bit more privacy from our daughter who slept on the sofa in the living room area. No door and as we looked closer, the door in the photo is leaned against the wall and in fact would not have closed due to the bed in the way. Also, the ocean view balcony shown in the photo must be on an end unit, because the only way we could see the ocean was if you hung yourself over the railing or if you stood in the very back corner of the balcony in both units we rented. The âwaterparkâ was obviously taken with a wide angle lens because it was much smaller than expected.
Cleanliness was a big issue. The floors were filthy, mold in the showers, and the vents were filthy as well. The bed had sand in it when I slid in and it wasnât from my feet. Same with all beds. No toilet paper in the bathroom upon arrival. The front desk staff was accommodating, but not very friendly.
That being said, the restaurant staff were all very nice and very attentive all 3 times that we ate or had drinks and the beach was beautiful!
I know you get what you pay for and the price was reasonable for a beach stay, but I will not book here again.
