It is not really a hotel. I am at a loss to name it. Nothing really worked except the elevator. The TV would turn on but all the channels I would attempt to watch said it needed a subscription. There were no written instructions on how to use the system.
While there is a phone in the room it did not work. IT was a phone system from an old San Francisco Hotel, long gone.
The hotel is right on the Amtrak tracks and there are defining horns as it slowly passes by 24/7. There was a bar across the street that played extremely loud music late into the night. When I complained the staff looked at me while I was the problem.
Most of the restaurants in the area are extremely expensive.
Some of the staff were friendly.
When I turned on the shower the shower head flew across the shower with great force. Fortunately, I was not inside of the shower at the time. Something else in it broke. After the maintenance guy came, he put the shower head back on and said he would be back. He never came back.
The towels are extreme thin. No bedspread or comforter. The pillows were very flat. There are two heating systems in the room. One was worthless and made a lot of noise and the other sort of worked again with a lot of noise.
It was really cheap on Hotels.com, but I would not use them again. It was not restful.
