This property is a nightmare! DON’T STAY!
Firstly, the elevator is located right inside the main entrance where no one, including the front desk staff, can see who is entering the hotel. Anyone could enter and go on the elevator and make their way through the hotel!! I find that unsafe!
Check in was fine. But once we got to our room (#330), the heat/air was inoperable. We went to leave for dinner and our door wouldn’t lock. Called front desk, the Manager came up 20 minutes later and attempted to fix it. She couldn’t, so she told us that we could just leave for dinner and she’d work on it. ABSOLUTELY NOT I said!! We aren’t leaving our personal belongings unsecured! I asked if she could put us in another room and she told me they were booked full and that wasn’t possible. She never came back to fix the door. I then went to the front desk, where 3 other sets of people were informing the Manager they were having issues with their rooms!! I asked if my door was going to be fixed and the Manager proceeded to tell me AGAIN that we could just leave and go to dinner…and I said there’s no way I’m doing that and in the rudest tone she said to me “well that’s up to you”…as if it should have been a consideration to leave our belongings in a room with a door that didn’t lock from the hallway!! The Manager left the front desk and only the new employee was there to serve people. Within 10 minutes HE gave me new room keys and another room! I guess they weren’t fully booked after all!
