We have stayed at this hotel on several trips and it never disappoints. It’s always clean and quiet and affordable. The rooms are spacious and include a fridge, Keurig, microwave, and a small table and 2 chairs to sit and eat. There is also a sofa that pulls out into an extra bed. Breakfast was perfectly adequate for us including several different kinds of bread, bagels and muffins with butter, jelly, cream cheese, peanut butter and Nutella. Several kinds of cereal and oatmeal with fresh fruit, dried fruit and individual containers of pears, peaches, etc. There is new construction next door but we never heard any of it. There isn’t a pool, which didn’t matter to us, but might be important to others. I wish there was more light in the back half of the room where the table and closet area is - at least an extra lamp. It’s very dark back there without the outside light coming through the window. The ferry is practically at the front door - easy on and off when coming and going. It’s about a mile or so drive to Port Aransas Beach and an easy straight drive down to Padre Island or Corpus Christi. You need a beach access sticker to drive on the beaches ($15) and they sell them at the convenience store right across the street from the hotel.
