The stay was quite good, for the price, and because I did not really care too much about the location -- Other than being close to Rickshaw Stop, where I went to a show. The staff is super kind and nice: They even setup a shuttle to the airport for me!
The hotel is renovated, and the room even still smelled a bit like fresh paint.I set down my bags, and I went out to explore the city and came back to rest a bit and go to the concert. When I came back at night I saw a small bug (not a big deal) but I checked that there were no more around. They do, however, seem to have pest controls in order in the small board at the entrance, so I would not mind much.
I went to sleep and fortunately, the rooms were quiet, but the walls are paper-thin, if you need to have a good night sleep, it must be a coin toss since it would depend on the other people in the hotel (I had a young single mom next door and I could hear the kids talking a bit, but it was not too bad). I head a loud bang of the restroom at around 4 and then some music at around 8 but I was already awake.
The restrooms and bathrooms are all clean and kept up quite often. One of the top floor bathrooms, however, had the shower head slightly off so it would spill water everywhere. Nothing too bad, because the floors are kept up quite often (but in the morning you might run into someone who showered recently).
In general good hotel, and great staff. Would not recommend if you need to rest.
