The apartment house is located in a very nice quarter in walking distance (10 minutes) from Helsinki's central shopping district. My room was clean (apart from an old coffee filter that I discovered in the coffee machine) but I was really disappointed by the self-service equipment. The kitchen consists of a fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine and a water heater that are squeezed in a cupboard. They cannot be placed elsewhere because of missing sockets, and also the number of sockets in the cupboard is not sufficient, plus hard to reach. There is just one table in the room that cannot be moved so that it is impossible to sit at it with more than one or two persons. In the cupboard I could not find forks or towels, and there is no kitchen sink so that you have to wash your used dishes in the bathroom sink. Another downside was the reception: In theory there should have been a person available from 10 am to 6 pm but I only saw someone sitting there once during my three-day stay. I would not recommend staying in this apartment hotel unless you only want to use it for sleeping.
