Security is good (24 hours front desk opens door from road on request, keys are given for each room). the rooms are clean.
Major complaint: Madrid in January is freezing cold at night. The building is poorly insulated (may also apply to other hostals in this city/area) and the heating system does not really help). Rooms are uncomfortable cold as a result ! serious issue for me.
Worse, there is not even an electric kettle in the rooms or community area to make a warming tea. Can‘t understand why the owners don‘t make such $10.- investment....
WiFi is free but not really usable in my rooms 104 and 102 as the signal is too week.
Apart from that the location is nice (metro station in 5 minutes walk).
