-arrived and the room had not been cleaned/smelled of cigarette smoke
-returned to the "front desk" (which is an arcade employee who deals with the "check-in and check-out ONLY" for the property), in the arcade, told me that the property owner said there would not be a room that night, but they would have an apartment in the morning.
-eventually said they could give me a 2 bedroom instead of 3 bedroom
-"bedroom 2" is in the back of the unit with no window, no exit door. not meeting any safety code. Bedroom 1 in front of unit, sheer shades, essentially full parking lot lighting in the bedroom.
-kitchen: NO DISHES. at all. one dirty pot. 3 spoons, 2 forks. no plates, no cups, no mugs, no bowls.
-attempt to cancel due to issues addressed above: punted back and forth between the property and expedia for a total of 6 hours.
-the property billed me for 3 nights in a 3 bedroom apartment. again states that Expedia needs to approve the refund. Every part of this experience was atrocious, on the part of both Meadowvale Apartment Hotel AND Hotels.com/Expedia
