We were offered a room on the second floor with a view. We thought it might be noisy (the hotel is very central) and so we were offered for the same price an annex very close by in an old house with very quiet bedroom at the back and a big living area at the. Very pleased with this though it was on the 3rd floor (no lift) so not suitable for all. The main hotel has a lift. The annex had a kettle and fridge.

We arrived very early in the morning after disembarking a cruise ship. The staff was very accommodating on storing our luggage until we could check in the afternoon. Unfortunately, we forgot our US to Europe plug in adapters and the staff looked up where we could purchase what we needed. The hotel is centrally located and easy to get to anywhere in city central. We used the marketplace only once. It was a well maintained area and easy to use. The room was clean and comfortable. If we are back in Rotterdam in the future, this will be our first choice of hotels.
