Went with a large group and chose this location for the convenience of readily available food and drinks for kids of all ages. Prior to our arrival we downloaded the app so that we could make reservations at the restaurants. The app did not work and we were unable to make any reservations prior to our arrival. Once on property, nothing was available.
At check in there was 1 employee at the front desk. We had 25 in our group and another large group arrived behind us. During check in, several other guests were coming up to the desk advising that their wristband/room key, was not functioning properly. The woman assisting us then had to stop to assist them, and return to us. While My specific reservation was for 1 King room, and 2 rooms both with queen beds. I was told they did not have any queen rooms available, we would receive 3 king rooms. Well, that doesn’t really work when you need space for 8 people with older kids, male and female, who shouldn’t be sharing beds. We were told there was nothing that could be done, but they would get us a rollout bed.
The staff overall was not super friendly, and many people in our group fwd the made to feel like they were bothering the staff when ordering food/drinks.
The main lobby bathroom smelled dirty, and on the few occasions that I used it there was toilet paper on the floor and the stalls were not maintained.
The rooms were eh.
The beach was beautiful.
