The room's air conditioner needed cleaning, there was a mildew smell; this has been reported by others and they have not taken it to heart. The room was clean. The bed was on a metal bed frame but was comfortable. There was a nice set of window shades that totally blocked light and viewing from the outside and inside/out. The adjoining room was noisy late at night but they must have gone out and it quieted down. I could hear people upstairs walking around. The hairdryer and Dove products were a nice feature. The property is next to a mall with the BEST Barnes and Noble I've ever seen--light and airy, spacious with a lot of room to sit on a computer with a very long counter, lots of tables and a display at the front of Indigenous authors, stories. The breakfast was nice. I asked the girl at the desk where we were on the map as a map of points of interest didn't have the location on it/was further south. She turned the map over and pointed to the dot of Santa Fe. Seriously. Like I know where I am, just not at the point on the larger map with all other points of interest on it--which she never articulated and I had to figure out for myself by just driving! Overall, Santa Fe was a disappointment. There was NO parking available/left downtown d/t a festival, so I was unable to purchase local art or jewelry which helps their economy.
