Standard of the hotel absolutely acceptable for a 4 star category. A historical building nicely re-built and apparently recently renovated. Clear, decent design of guest room and bathroom. Restaurant, lounge nice and providing good service.
However, the room I first got wqas in 5th floor (highest floor) and did not have any windows, only small skylights in the ceiling. In spite of the nice design I experienced it a bit like a prison cell due to the lack of any exterior view. Upon request, I was readily offered a different room, on 1st floor, which however also had 4 high and wide walls without windows, and a small very narrow "window" in one corner, which was acually more like a loophole, approx. 30cm wide, and leading into a small dark interior yard. It felt exactly the same like the first room.
I was told no other rooms were available because the hotel was booked completely except those two rooms, so I accepted the second one but rather unhappily.
For two nights it was acceptable, but I was clearly unhappy with the price/quality ratio.
