Huge apartment
I stayed in room 1111 and was very excited. The apartment is huge, and bright and offers comfortable equipment (including an iron, washer, dryer, and many kitchen appliances). The only small minuses: it is quite noisy and the Wi-Fi is very slow (movies can not be streamed).

Roami can be our secret
It is really a studio apartment. Had a good sized refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, 2 burner stove top, coffeemaker toaster washer and dryer. It was clean and nicely updated. I noted a few details that could used more attention. I’m not sure if I liked the memory foam king size mattress, it’s hard to roll over to a different sleeping position. The halls and elevators had a peculiar smell. The kitchen lacked a few details that prevented full functionality. It is what I needed and walking distance to train station and bourbon street. A very good value.

It’s not worth the savings y’all.
This is an older building, which is fine, but requires more upkeep. The smell in the entire place reeked of urine covered by industrial air fresheners. It was a little nauseating. I had no face towels in my room, and when I asked housekeeping, they spoke no English. Definitely won’t return here, or suggest to anyone. The reviews were very misleading. I’d happily pay more to stay at a better property next time.

The property itself was fine. Loved the 24/7 lobby security, always very kind and accessible and very convenient location to get around New Orleans. The room was a bit colder than the photos lead on, more bleak than expected. And unfortunately, our unit didn’t have hot water and it took almost 36 hours to get it fixed. Roami was not communicative and it took me reaching out multiple times via text messaging and phone calls over multiple days to get it fixed. If I could rate the property itself I would say 3.5 stars, if I could rate Roami and their accessibility and helpfulness, I would rate them at a 1 star. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend staying at a Roami property. Just stay at a classic hotel.

Property was run down. Common areas unclean with basic and often uncomfortable furnishings. Out of date equipment in the gym, nothing to clean machines with. Water damage in the room, front door was hitting flooring. The lock had a serious delay and the windows were dirty. Musty smelling, did not smell clean. Overall the room was fine but there was loud construction across the street.

Great location, and the apartment had a lot of promise. Mostly clean, HOWEVER -- we paid for a deluxe apartment that was supposed to have a usable sofa bed and the linens had not been changed on this bed for Lord knows how long. It looked like a crime scene. We communicated with our 'attendant' over text about the situation, and he never responded. We also flagged down a housekeeper whose supervisor promised to take care of the situation and never showed up. Needless to say, we had to purchase an extra blanket (none were provided) in order to now share a bed we hadn't planned on sharing. Overall, ok experience but this company has ZERO communication and if we were relying on clean linens there was clearly no way to remedy. Additionally, I have attempted to contact this company via their 'Contact Us' webpage and their form will not submit nor is there a phone number to call to complain.

Happy With My Decision to Choose Roami!
Overall, I was happy with this Roami location...it was walking distance from the football stadium (I was there for the Broncos/Saints game), the bed was comfortable, it was quiet in the hotel (outside the hotel was another story...lots of construction outside, l was on the 12th floor, and it was very loud, but I used the white noise on my phone and slept very well!), guy at the front desk was friendly, there were teabags provided for my morning hot beverage that I enjoyed while reading my book, check-in instructions were easy to understand and follow, and communication was good. My only issues were the bathroom floor wasn't completely clean (a quick vacuum would've solved that problem), and I requested a couple maintenance things that were acknowledged, but never completed...my hairdryer was broken, so I requested a new one...they said it could be 24 hours before I received a new one, which was fine, but I never got one. I also let them know the light in closet didn't work, and that wasn't fixed either (I was there three nights). Other than those minor things, I'm happy that I chose Roami!

Broken Dishwasher
Very disappointed with the condition of apartment. Reported the dishwasher didn't work on Monday, was promised 3 times maintenance would be here to fix, never repaired, had to hand wash dishes in order to have clean, the whole purpose to have a fully furnished apartment was to put dishes in dishwasher and go about my vacation, not stand in front of a sink daily. Bedroom ceiling light/fan had been turned off way up on ceiling and chains were short, even standing on bed, could not reach, so had no overhead light and the fan could not be controlled.

The building had this incessant odor was different everyday but somehow always bad. Not sure if it was vomit or trash or both but it was not pleasant. In the room, the ventilation system and fan were dusty and didn't look like they'd been cleaned for some time. There was only 2 towels and 1 wash cloth which, due to the humidity, was damp even after 24hrs of hanging up. Strangely, there was this wifi box dangling from a wall outlet that was not well placed or hidden and could easily be knocked out of the wall. It had a notice above it that said there would be a $500 if it was knocked out. Seems like that should be something tucked away and not out making me paranoid. The rooftop and view was nice. but the pool was almost comically tiny and not a true infinity pool as photos suggest. There's at least 10ft of tarred roof over the edge that you must notice if looking out at the horizon. Staff was nice but there is no service elevator so the elevators were constantly over used and slow. We waited a long time in the foul smelling hallway just to catch an elevator.

Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the kitchenette had everything we needed, and there were extra towels. The bathroom, howevere was in need of repairs. The shower door was only attached by the top hinge and and there was black mold on the vents and some of the tile grout. The shower pan was so worn out it was extremely slippery, and my husband ended up falling in the shower and getting pretty beat up from it. The loby looked clean, but it smelled like a porta potty and the halls smelled as well.

My reservations were from 9/26/24/ until 9/30/24. The location was close walking distance to Bourbon street which was a plus to Canal Street. I choose the studio standard it was not what I expected. When I arrived there was lobby attendant. However on the outside at night there are people handing out and smoking which makes you feel unsafe. Once I entered the lobby for the first time there an awful smell which smells like dead rats or cats. When we asked the front desk he stated a pipped had bust by a driver down stairs. The three days I was there I had to smell this terrible smell which was very unpleasant when you have guess with you complaining. I was up on the 12th floor and every time I step out in the hall way the smell hits you in the face. The room was ok the bed was very uncomfortable and on the floor it was a mattress frame that sits on the floor. There was mold in the bathroom around the crown molding of the shower, the shower is very tiny not made for two or 1 person the door of the bathroom didn't close. The kitchen are was cute and up to date with the appliances. The TV had connection issues and tiling the ceiling fan was horrible hasn't been cleaned in months there was so much dust. The light in the closet was not working. I called on Friday before going out there was que for me to wait someone called me back by this time I was out with company and didn't answer. The property is located directly behind walgreens so its noisy at night.

Getting in and out the property wasn’t an issue but the ac in our unit wasn’t great. Also, the bathroom really needs updating. Anyonr can take photos from the correct angle.

There were no towels in the unit. Only one small TV in the living room and no TVs in the bedrooms. Couch was dirty on both sides of the cushions and was pullout feature was broken. Dryer was broken too so we took home wet clothes. We had to pay to park $30/day in a nearby garage.
