When talking about French hotels we must keep in mind that the standards typically are lower, compared to hotels in other countries, and that the cleanliness and room care is less.
Surprisingly, the rooms (I had 2 different in 2 days) are reasonably large and clean. The hotel personnel were friendly, and the restaurant super. There is, from my point of few, nothing to complain about.
The Montana restaurant is above average level. The waiters, when able to communicate in English, helpful and friendly.
Minus points to English capabilities of some of the personnel. And a small minus for the fact that there are no chairs in front of the hotel rooms. It could be so nice sitting there. I had to take the armchair out of my room …
Most important: Will I return to that hotel if required? A clear yes.
