Great location!!! Close to everything downtown within walking distance or a short metro ride. Beds were extremely comfortable and the hot water was never lacking. Front desk staff were friendly and bi-lingual, which helps a pocho like me.
The location and the price. The location and the price
love the ambiance, they have people that speak English. The room was so comfortable, the only thing I chose shared bathroom and it was dirty in the morning, the toilet was full of paper. Overall a great experience
Good hotel for young people. Well placed in downtown.
Super Location! Super Price! Super Service! Half a block from metro, recommend using it during off hours for only $5 pesos. Friendly and Helpful Flexible and Kind Daytime Front Desks. Did I Mention Welcome Drinks!!! Free Salsa Class!! SlackLine Class! Movie Night! Do not expect Hotel Quality Bathroom Because Hostelers do make mess often and maids are not cleaning 24/7 like Roomba Robots. Only Hostel with Movie Room! Cinema Room! ENJOY TRAVELING ENJOY YOUR STAY IN HARMONY NOT IN MONOPOLY BASED ON RESPECT AND UNDERSTANDING AND SPREAD HOPES
Cool Stylish Vintage Hostel. Convenient Location next to Metro. very Friendly and Nice staffs. Melina and Daisy was extra Helpful. They helped me with free upgrade when other room was not available. There are good common areas Including Cinema Room. The room are good and has room service everyday. Best Value in Mexico City. Free English and Salsa Classes and Many Activities with Cool Bands, Karaoke Night and Free Drinks for New Guests. Offers Great Tours In and Around City. Enjoy Your Stay with all kinds of people around the World
MOLD MOLD MOLD on Ceiling. Bad and Slow Service when requested about MOLD problem. Stuck up Hipster culture Hostel. I prefer family environment so wont be using this hostel again. Overall, Mediocre environment and amateur service
Firstly the positives before I summarise the many negative - Well located in Centro Historico close to Salto Del Agua metro. - Walking distance (15-20 mins) to the Zocalo, Palacio National, etc. - Generally helpful and friendly staff Negatives: - Check-in queue: long wait to check-in with only one member of staff occupied with chit chat to the guests in front for some time. - Cockroaches: Getting into the room to find a number of dead and alive roaches on the floor, at least 6 or 7 in bathroom and around and under the bed. The room was also dirty. In fairness, a replacement 'upgrade room' was promptly arranged however this didn't appear to be an upgrade as it did not have a balcony. - Noise and vibration: There were numerous sources of disruptive noise throughout the night which made sleeping continuously almost impossible. Noise from a generator in close proximity which also made the floor and our bed vibrate/move. Very poor sound insulation so any doors closing in corridors were very loud in our room. - Lack of light and privacy: Our room had one window facing into an internal courtyard, which corridors, and numerous other rooms also face into. Therefore no ability to have daylight and privacy at the same time. - Hot water - there was a boiler problem which meant no hot water on our second day, which was resolved by the evening. Also worth knowing, the balcony of the first room 'Deluxe Double Room' we had booked is not a private balcony but shared.
It’s a nice hostel in Mexico City historical quarter so it’s close to almost everything. But don’t expect to rest and sleep because of the loud that comes from the people inside the hostel and the construction outside. Also the shared bathroom is not clean
