The only positives were the location (just a 1-minute walk from the metro station) and the spaciousness of the room. However, during our 8-night stay, the fire alarm in the rooms went off multiple times, including thee times in the middle of the night, startling us awake. One day, I had to deal with a non-functioning air conditioner for half the day. The elevators typically had long wait times, but one morning not all were working, it took me around 50 minutes just to get downstairs.
Housekeeping was disappointing; several times, bath mats and towels were taken from the room but not replaced. The complimentary water bottle was also not refilled daily. Additionally, the furniture was outdated, and the carpets were visibly dirty.
I encountered numerous small technical issues as well. The outdoor lighting on the balcony didn’t work, and the bathtub shower head was broken, spraying water from all angles. The shower shelf was so crooked that it couldn’t hold anything securely. The shower door not closing properly. One of the curtains wasn’t properly attached to the rail, making it difficult to open and close.
Finally, regarding taxis, the hotel staff consistently tried to steer us toward a private taxi service that costs about three times more than standard local taxis.
