We were super impressed with this hotel. The cleanliness was key to this stay. Staff was inviting and the food available without leaving makes this five start to a family with several children !
Amazing place
We got to hotel and got to the room, was very cold in room, we turned A/C on and it did not work. We had to switch it on from the mail electric cabinet. And waited 2 hr the room stayed at 65. We called the front disc and after 15 min wait they came and worked on it for 30 min, we were very tiered and sleepy. They left and said all good. We when right to sleep and the room is freezing and blowing cold air to our face. We wake up at 3 am and we could not move. We got headache and cold from the cold air blowing. we turned A/C off so cold air will stop blowing at our faces. and slept till 6 using all the blanket they have. We when to breakfast and my husband food came with ham. He have allergies to meet, so glad he saw that before he ate. Asked for other meal and had to wait for it. So I can say our trip was very bad and we are going to drive back to our home very tiered . Did not have a good or enough sleep. Not to mention in the room we found a plastic knife on the floor beside the bed from previous customer.
Nice location and friendly staff. Different amenities due to coronavirus restrictions, however the staff was still upbeat and tried to make our stay enjoyable.
Beds were very comfy, room was very spacious, we were disappointed in the breakfast only because last time we were there it was a buffet style breakfast, this time because of COVID they didn’t have the Buffett and whatever breakfast they served weren’t really the tastiest, the breakfast was the only reason we stayed there so it was a little disappointing, also when I booked I booked a river view room and we got a room looking at the parking lot which we didn’t say anything at the time because we figured in the morning we would have a good view of the river at breakfast which we didn’t because the dinning area was closed.
Great location convenient to shopping, dining and walking.
I was there for a week with another person who kept the air on. The night i stayed i turned on the heat and the next morning ny newborn and I had bug bites. The hotel said sand flies yet neither of us were bitten throughout the week. No mosquitoes, fly, or other insect bites. I was told that they had their own inhouse team to inspect the rooms. There was never any contact on their end. When I called hotels.com the lady said the hotel said no refund because it was past 6 months, it hasn't even been 5 months. Then the Hotels.com lady says oh they said no because it was over 4 or 5 months. So someone is lying and I was told to report the bug bites apparently they have had prior issues.
I've come to this area 5 times within last year, this time the service has changed at the hotel, the service seems to be bare minimal. They pass out breakfast, grits, powdered eggs, bacon, orange, juice and muffin. The staff seems very confused about a lot. Room service kept knocking on my door and she was unable to speak english. I finally pulled up on my phone what she wanted, and she wanted to clean my room. I said i wasn't checking out. I went to get my key card rekeyed, went to lunch came back to hotel and i couldn't get into my room. Staff didn't know how to upgrade room, which i asked for river view instead of city view. Temperature in room was crazy cool, I had to keep turning the temp up even though I turned it off every time. Unsure why it kept coming back on and going straight to 65 degrees.

People staying in the room next to us were very loud and we were able to hear them. The walls must be paper thin!
