The apartment was situated on the edge of the old town. The building is old and quite run down, which wouldn’t be that bad if they would clean it once in a while… The apartment itself is fine. It is renovated and looks, at a first glance, fancy and quite instagramy: white is the colour of choice (a good and bad one, as one could think). The bed and the mattress were fine, the bedding not sufficient (too tight) for two people. The kitchenette (1m wide) was absolutely fine for a short stay (the “coffee machine” is not usable for people who drink real coffee, but there are a lot of coffee houses and a Starbucks near). The bathroom was absolutely fine, the rain-shower-head a dream.
Our problem was again the cleanliness of the place: the couch in the living room was dirty and full of well very strange and visible spots (didn’t want to think about that further… so none of us sat on it, which is sad because it looked big and comfortable, maybe that was the problem…), the place was really dusty (very noticeable on the white furniture) and the windows can only hold that much noise from the big street. On Sunday we were even able to hear what seems to be a religious singing from one of the nearby churches. For us it was an ok apartment to spent the few days (after we disinfected some areas which we knew we would use) we were in town, but we wouldn’t come back to it. It’s really that simple: clean the place! It was really, really yucky…
