Marvin is the best.
Marvin/Marvel was excellent his customer service was phenomenal I wish they had more people like him in the world I will stay there even if the hotel wasn’t at it’s best long as he is a part of your customer service team. Didn’t have a card to gain access to room. Front desk tonya? Nice and the guy that works front desk we started off bad at check in but was good after. Valet guy works nights zero stars. Couldn't purchase anything. I was checked out and in Florida when anpther front desk called for a debit card. Maam im not even in Louisiana anymore.

Rooms are not as advertised in photos.
Photos of rooms are not the actual room layout. This is a shared property. Springhill is on the other side. If you are looking for a room with a sofa bed do not book here. Our city view was of a cemetery 😞 Staff was friendly. The room was clean. However, the public restroom downstairs was not flushing properly. I will be booking with Springhill in the further instead of TownePlace.

When we booked, I asked for a mobility accessible room with a walk-in shower. The shower we got...sort of. There are no assist bars in the bathroom, and even the toilet is not ADA compliant! We asked for a properly accessible room and we were told there were none left. I fully expect a complete refund for our dangerous inconvenience! As a former Marriott employee, I know the standards expected of their hotels. THIS IS NOT IT!!!
