Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at the Hotel Piaz. We were there for 8 nights, so we had plenty of time to evaluate the property. The location was very convenient to all the main passes of the Dolomites. Since we were there in the shoulder season, there were few restaurants open, so we had dinner at the restaurant at the hotel three nights, and their continental breakfast every morning. The food was excellent, as was our service from Aurora, the head server, who always had a smile on her face and bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. If there was one negative, this is an older building, so the walls are quite thin, so anyone in an adjacent room who spoke or played the tv loudly was a nuisance. But the staff were all great people and made our stay as comfortable as possible. If anything, I would recommend staying here midweek and during the off season.
