Affordable hotel, but there were some quirks that made it feel like less than a four star location.
The positives: the rooms were well appointed with comfortable sheets and glass door showers. The service staff was very helpful when we forgot our room key. At check-in we were presented with free 1 drink tickets for the bar and a voucher for using at the casino. We were not there for either activity.
The negatives: There was no mention of additional amenities as seen in other 4 and 5 star hotels (pool, jacuzzi); the selection of sports channels was much more limited than what was available elsewhere in bogota and Medellin. We also had to wait for a front desk person to walk us to the room after check-in and have us sign off on the minibar inventory. The breakfast was only from 6-9 and it was not buffet style, you were allowed one pass through the line then you were done. The food was a bit lackluster looking. I ended up settling for a bit of eggs, fruit and bargain brand cereal. In addition, the crowd for the space was very crowded, more like a canteen at a hostel.
