My two daughters and I stayed at the VIP Hotel for nearly two weeks. The name VIP hotel is misleading as there is hardly a chance with that Price to be a firstclass hotel. That in mind we loved the Hotel from the first day, first because of the lovely warm pool, later because of several other reasons: the staff is so friendly and always helpful and cheerful! Breakfast was fine, served until 10am. There was the choice of Coffee, Tee, Orange- and some other juice or water, 3 sorts of Jam, chocolate cream, peanut butter or the delicious Kaya, a spread made of Coconut, Toast to put in the toaster, 2 sorts of cake, 2 sorts of fruit, Baked beans, sausage and a chinese noodle breakfast, cereals, milk and you could order what we found a delicious omelette, otherwise sunny side up or scrambled egg. The breakfast area is outside, cooled by fans, with view onto the pool. Our room smelled at first a little mildewed but after opening the window, everything was fine. The room has no fan, but a good Airconditioning. It was clean and had comfortable beds. The safe wouldn't open but was immediately repaired although it was already midnight. All in all a fine Hotel with a lot of heart, located perfectly in a quiet side street but in Walking distance to MRT and Shopping Areas.
