the room smelled like bleach when we opened the door. the bed just had a mattress on six legs, It was not even anchored to the floor, like a roll out bed. The floor was kind of sticky, and sandy feeling. There was very loud music in the court yard that played all day till about 7pm. There was a bed lamp that did not work, I told the front desk but it was never fixed, so we switched it with another, even that one was to dim.

I just spent three days in Beach Haven, NJ for a 52 year reunion at a local theatre. The Sea Spray motel was the perfect spot for my stay. My room was spotlessly clean, the shower had plenty of hot water and the bed was “firm” but quite comfortable. There is a pool and it is an easy walk across the street to the beach. Nearby are a dub shop and frozen custard. There is a shuttle that drives up and down the island and stops right out front. This is not a fancy resort—it is a family friendly classic “motel.” Very happy I chose this spot for my stay!

So glad we found this place, it was our second year staying here. We love it! The staff is friendly, the heated pool is beautiful, and it’s a short walk to the beach. It’s at the end of the island, so it’s nice and quiet but still close to shopping and food places. Very affordable too, highly recommend!

Second time I stayed here. Folks are nice and the rooms were clean. Very quiet in mid-September. Beach egress is right across the street and the pool looked nice although we didn't use it. Short drive to get to restaurants and shopping. Good value.
