The staff when my friends and I arrived were very nice, polite and helpful however there were no staff at the reception on arrival we had to wait. My friends and I still received exceptional service from them however one member of staff named Sammy who usually works the night shift has the worst communication skills I have ever come across which is poor as, he is a “receptionist”. He apparently gave us a warning for going in the pool which he did not communicate to us, he tried to kick us out which it turns out he is not allowed to do because, it is not even in his job description and the reasoning for Sammy trying to kick us out was beyond stupid (he was going to kick us out for shaking a plant) HE WAS RACIST TO MY FRIEND and did not apologise he’s clearly not mentally stable and needs to find a new job as he’s just not fit for the role. Of course being a receptionist can be stressful but there is no need to ever bring sensitive or ethical issues into such situations hopefully you’ll fix up Sammy because your costumer service sucks. Anyways, the bathroom was very dirty spoon arrival it was not very cleanly, the sink in the bathroom, kitchen and the shower have definitely not been cleaned for MONTHS and the bowls and pans have not been cleaned properly and you are not provided with a sponge or even washing up liquid to help out the cleaners a little. Not all of the plug sockets work, if you lose your key you have to pay 50€ as Rio gardens do not have spare keys.
