This island has only 54 rooms which at high season still felt like we had the entire beach to ourself. There is plenty of space and you will feel the tranquility believe me. If you are on honeymoon, birthday, couples visit this island is perfect. Even have a pool and good staff for kids.
The island is one of the best in Maldives when you think of these aspects; it has it's own sandbank, it has a light blue lagoon as far as eyes can see (1-2km), Its Very calm and peaceful, it's got VERY GOOD snorkeling and diving house reef which is accessible from one side while the other side has the perfect white sand beach, cleaned every day.
Your expectations must be set correctly and logic should prevail that before all things, this is an island in the middle of nowhere with very small amount of guests so some things, actually everything must be imported long distance. Other island has bottle of water at 5-6$ for 0.5l while at Ranveli water is 3$ for 1.5l. Coffee, cappuccino etc is around 3$ mark while other islands are at 6$, so yes it's a good value for money island while you still get the absolute best of Maldives.
Short about the room, it's good but not wow, has a comfy bed, newly renovated, mini bar that's stocked daily, room cleaned twice a day, pillows are great and you can ask for additional, TIP, view of the ocean is best from room 25.
Tip 1: buy a SIM card at the airport if you want fast internet. Dhiragu company recommended for super fast 3-4G. 30$ for 14 days!
