Great little boutique hotel within walking distance from the lake Coeur d'Alene. Hotel manager Lizz is a wonderful host. We enjoyed every moment of our stay (just one night on a road trip) and would have loved to stay another night, but the house was fully booked. Just some details that might help in deciding if this is the right place to choose: beds adjustable via remote control, hotel seems to take pride in fine-tuning details - from art-work in the open to use for everybody lobby / formal living room / kitchen, mix of antiques style bathroom deco to just the right amount of amenitites of modern technology. The house's kitchen was open for everyone 24/7, with complimentary wine, fruits etc. The house used to be a B&B once, and still today offers just a small breakfast, which in turn is fresh and of good quality. Don't go here if you prefer continental breakfast motel-chain style. Only point that some might consider negative: It's an old house and as such it has no elevator, and some of the stairs are somewhat steep. The hotel has no own parking space, but parking in the residential street right next to the hotel is no problem as far as we were concerned. Great place to stay if you're looking for a special place that makes you feel truly welcome!
