It was the second time I stayed at this hotel. The location was great, just 3 min walk from the Shinjuku JR station and the highway bus station. Room was clean, staff was helpful.
But l didn’t bring my own pillow this time and asked if they had latex pillow. They only provide a very soft pillow one or the one in the wardrobe was soft on top but with hard beans in the bottom. The staff tried his very best to communicate with us and asked if we were looking for 低反発 pillow. We said yes and asked them to put in our room. When we return that night, we found that it was just another pillow of the one in the wardrobe but bigger in size. So the four-night stay resulted in severe headache everyday.
Another point to note is you can hear clearly the next room in the toilet, including their conversation and when they were using the hair dryer.
I hope they could provide more pillow choices, including latex or similar material in the future. If I should stay next time at this hotel and do not have enough luggage space for my own pillow, I would go to Nitori to buy one. The cheapest 低反発pillow is only less than ¥600 and a nicer one is ¥1000. I hope they would not charge me if I need to dispose of the pillow after the stay.
