What a lovely place to stay! The staff were incredibly friendly, and our room was spacious and well-appointed. We had a bedroom with a huge, high bed, an en suite bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe, and a separate lounge area. There was a TV in both the bedroom and the lounge, which was a nice touch.
The shower was fantastic—a double-sized cubicle with both a rainforest showerhead and a handheld option, making it a real treat.
Breakfast was included and offered a generous selection: pastries, cereals, fruit, yogurts, toast, meats, cheeses, juice, tea, and coffee. On top of that, you could order hot food from Stokes, the café across the courtyard, and it would be brought directly to your table—such a nice option.
If I had to mention a downside, it would be that some of the decor looked a little tired, with a few areas of peeling wallpaper. However, this didn’t affect our stay at all.
The service was top-notch. We asked for extra coffee and milk for our room, and it was provided without hesitation.
We would absolutely recommend staying here and would love to return. I also have to give a shout-out to the tapas restaurant opposite the hotel—one of the best meals we’ve ever had! The flavors were incredible, and the service was just as impressive. What a treat to have right on the doorstep!
Thank you for a wonderful couple of days—we really enjoyed exploring Lincoln. ❤️
