hotels.com moved me to The Crest on James Street which left much to be desired. The shower was quite small & cramped, no coffee in the room - very disappointing but served its purpose. I won't use Hotels.com again.

I chose this location for easy access on public transportation to the airport and to the convention center. I enjoyed the area and access to beach very much. The hotel came with a warning that noisy nights may prevail. This was true. If you are a early-to-bed person, ask for a top-floor, back-of-the-building room.

I booked an upgraded looking room and I had the older model room with horrible beds tilting. I mean if you’re just sleeping 1 night fine not several days. The upgraded model rooms are a bit better. Staff was nice I guess they have no choice but the look reminds me of a Tony Montana movie haha

Pool was under construction (no notice was given) the property needs updating, our sheets and comforter was not washed, their were fresh red blood spots on our comforter, hairs on our sheets. They did come an inspect and immediately changed our bedding. Room bar and amenities associated wasn't fully stocked. We witnessed 2 fights in the hallway we (our hotel neighbors and i) tried calling security/front desk multiple times with no answer so we contacted the police who were very swift with their arrival.The Owner/ manager was cursing out staff with no thought of his surroundings, using vicious words with no regard to professionalism. The way he spoke to his staff was inexcusable and threatening. It’s a beautiful hotel that needs updating and lessons on customer care.

The first issue we had was that our first room, the curtains had stains on it. The bed pillow had stains on it, the sheets had a few. Broken furniture. The wood flooring was lifted up which could potentially even hurt someone, there were rusted and open screws in the wardrobe area. The light had a weird stain and so did the lamp shade. And then on top of that there was bugs in the bed. We came down and complained and the guy was nice and gave us a new room next door but it was very inconvenient as it was midnight and we were trying to sleep from being out all night. we thought the new room was nice until I noticed that my bed was actually broken, but I let that be. Then the next day our floor was flooded. Not the room but our entire 3rd floor, very inconvenient and having to step in water. While all they did was put fans down to dry it, which will create mold under the carpet. Then as we go to sleep, we had a ROACH crawling around our room.the pool upstairs was green and foggy and had little things floating in it.ground floor pool that we were told was having happy hour wasn't even being used. Nobody knew what was going on.

Me pidieron hacer un depósito con mi tarjeta de un dollar y al otro día de haber dejado el hotel me hicieron 2 cargos a la tarjeta por $15 dólares y por $171.36, llevo 3 días llamando al hotel y solo contestaron una sola vez, pero nadie sabe darme respuesta de porque los cargos, ya nose que hacer para recuperar mi dinero, estoy indignada.
