Location is very convenient (inside a shopping centre, easy to walk everywhere in the town of Borlänge). However, the rooms and the hotel in general seemed kind of old. I believe that all rooms here have sloping walls with sloping windows, so I couldn't look out of the window, which caused a little bit of a claustrophobic feeling. I arrived in the evening when reception was already closed. The next day, a guy from the reception knocked on my door without saying who he was. He knocked a second time, which was more aggressive. When I opened the door, the told me that I still needed to pay for my stay. I must admit, I kind of forgot that but it's not like I wouldn't have paid, so I think the guy from reception could have least said who he was when he knocked on my door and asked in a more friendly way. I felt a little intimidated to open the door because I didn't know who that was. This was a bad experience. Otherwise, the staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, too. There was a bit of a bad smell from the toilet in my room. For that kind of price, I think the hotel should seriously consider to refurbish the rooms.
