We chose the hotel which has an excellent price-quality balance as a base to visit the GEM (Grand Egyptian Museum). It is within walking distance but one must cross a dual carriage way which we preferred to avoid although Egyptians do so constantly. This was the only inconvenience.
We stayed for four nights. The hotel was clean and cleaned every day; the shower worked and none of the bathroom facilities leaked as they often do in moderately priced hotels in Egypt. The staff were friendly and very helpful - even printing our museum tickets without charge. We enjoyed the breakfast and considered the ingredients of good quality.,
The Uber map is not accurate - this is not limited to this hotel but applied to all parts of Egypt we visited during 12 days of travel - Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Bisqash. So have the google map available for any driver you take.
