1) Asked ahead of time if late check-out was available. I was told no. I confirmed I was OK with paying a fee, but hoping for a checkout around 1p if possible due to our plans. I was told "our late check out availability is reserved for Gold Elite and above Marriott members only. I apologize we could not accommodate your request."
2) Upon arrival, saw several people standing around waiting. The two people (one I confirmed later was a manager) working declined to greet us or let us know what was happening. Apparently their system was down and they couldn't check anyone in. I found this out by asking the other people standing around. Despite my attempts to make eye contact with the two employees, I was completely ignored for at least 20 minutes. When we finally were addressed and checked into our room, there was no apology for the wait or lack of greeting.
3) One of the beds had this bright yellow stain on both the fitted and flat sheet. Surely housekeeping noticed this when they made the bed? We didn't see it until we pulled the comforter down and then the first thing we did was smell it. It was a dry stain - so had been washed and then put on the bed like this! We asked about it at the front desk to make sure they knew it was already there. The woman said she'd be happy to "take care" of us but sadly could not because we weren't Marriott members! I'm sorry, what?
4) Last straw was leaving. I was on a work call right until our check out time and the WIFI TURNED OFF at noon
