Hotel is situated at a perfect location just across the street from the Santa Fe shopping center and next to the 24 hours open carulla (supermarket). It's a 15 minute walk to Parque Lleras and 10 minutes walk to the Metro station Aguacatala. The room itself was spacious and clean and had all amenities one need for a week long vacation, including a kitchen. Gym has three treadmills. It all could have been a perfect rating, but there is a big BUT. When doing the check in I was told I have to buy additional the breakfast or pay the 19% hotel room tax. I am going to Colombia almost 15 years now and am pretty fluent regarding the travel law system to see right away that this was an attempt to rip off a customer, me. All foreigners are exempt from this tax, there are laws ruling this and even a ruling from Juan Manuel Santos, the president himself. So shame on you guys in this hotel for trying to rip off a paying customer. And no, this exemption does not only apply for travel packages, it also applies to hotel room only bookings. I have stayed in more then 60 hotels so far in Colombia so it shows what kind of game this specific hotel tried to play. Awful!!! Also note that there is no self service landry facility in the hotel like the hotel pictures suggest, this does not excists. Hotel is really good, but trying to rip off people is a no go!
