Highland Park is a hotel that has definitely seen better days. The views from the hotel are fantastic, with the river Beas flowing right next to the hotel. What lets the hotel down is the lack of maintenance and housekeeping standards, which leave a lot to be desired. The food is good, but surprisingly, the items available at the hotel may be pretty few. We were surprised to nite that the hotel did not have any mutton dish despite the same being on the menu.
The rooms are good, with great views. I would recommend the cottages. Again the hotel would do well to rearrange the furniture in the rooms a little bit.
However, for the price that the hotel charged, I would say that it isn't exactly value for money and that affects the overall rating of the hotel.
