This property is lovely with beautiful gardens and incredible antique furniture. Our room was huge and impeccably decorated. The coffee machines made excellent espresso, which we drank out of delicate porcelain cups. The air conditioning worked so well, critical given the heat/humidity even in late September. Breakfast was divine. There was a selection of amazing pastries and cakes, freshly made (I highly recommended the bombolini and the pistachio layer cake with lemon pastry cream) as well as yogurt and cereal with toppings, fresh fruit, and a savory station with scrambled eggs, frittatas, ham and cheese fried sandwiches and a selection of the amazing local cheese and salamis. The staff will make a coffee to your specifications and you can enjoy it inside the charming dining room or outside in the beautiful gardens. The spa was delightful, with a very lovely pool and steam room, and we enjoyed our spa services. There are two restaurants next door/attached - a sushi restaurant and a hopping pizza restaurant. The hotel staff were very helpful, and there is a free shuttle in the morning. Mondello beach is worth a trip! Be aware you will have to pay for a taxi to take you back, most locations around seemed to be about 30 euros. Overall, we really loved the villa and the east location. It was gorgeous and I would stay here again.
