I am travelling to Buenos Aires twice a month, and I have stayed in a lot of boutique hotels in Palermo neighborhood. The Vain was always too expensive, but due to the Peso-devaluation, prices dropped down, so I booked the Vain for 4 nights. The first room was in a kind of mezzanine-floor, with very low roofs, almost no day light, and one window towards a corridor. After I complained about the room, I got another room at a higher floor, which was more spacious and had an outside window. The room was not 100% clean, I found some long hairs in the bathroom and the bed, the blankest were a little greasy and all 4 pillows quite smelly. Breakfast was excluded from the room price, and I paid 16USD for an omelet with bread and coffee. Cost-benefit of the hotel is not good at all, for the same price, you can find much better options in Palermo.
