My arrival was perfect, and the gentleman who checked me in was exceedingly kind. However, since the telephone was not functioning and the hotel wished to send someone to my room to repair it, I politely declined out of consideration for my family's comfort. Shouldve worked upon arrival. We had breakfast at the Deck and requested a slightly later checkout time, but the hotel refused due to noise complaints. They should have come to my room to inform me, considering my phone was not working.. My family and I hurried back to our room, aware that we had 30 minutes until checkout. To our surprise, we found our keys had been locked. Went to the front desk, staff treated my family like hoodlums, and even yelled at my kids just because they were vocal about us still having time to check out. They checked me out and charged my card before I requested it, even though I still had time. We waited almost 30 minutes to return to our room to collect our belongings. The front desk attendant, after giving me another key, threatened to charge me for another night if we weren't out within 15 minutes, causing us significant stress. Because I had my children with me, I had to hurry, as we needed to go home to prepare for our vacation later that night. I am a busy travel nurse, which explains the delay in leaving this review, which I will also post on other platforms.
